        Tampa Bay Quarter Midget Racing Association is affiliated with Quarter Midgets of America, a Non-Profit  youth racing organization for kids 5 to 16 years old. We race every other Sunday with the gates opening at 8:00 am at Ambassador Racing School located in Balm, Fl. Admission is FREE! Visitors are always WELCOME!

TBQMRA PROMO DAY EVENT

FEBRUARY 5, 2006 IS TBQMRA'S SECOND PROMO DAY EVENT. CHILDREN AGES 5 TO 16 CAN COME OUT TO AMBASSADOR RACING SCHOOL AND TAKE A RACE CAR FOR A TEST DRIVE. CHECK UNDER TRACK INFO FOR DIRECTIONS OR CALL (813) 634-1076 FOR MORE INFO.

EXHIBITON OF WORLD FORMULA CLASS EXTENDED

        QMA National Board has extended the World Formula exhibition class to run thru the national meeting in February 2006.  They have also agreed to allow the Light World Formula class to begin now to gather information among this group of racers.  This allows heavy and light drivers to compete at the upcoming events such as the Tangerine and New Smyrna 500.  For details check out the Region 13 website at www.qmaregion13.com 

The BOD Approved Establishing a ‘Hardship’ Fund

    ‘Leave No Kid-Driver Behind’ fund would be available to TBQMRA member families which may have at some point in time, the need for assistance in order to meet race entry costs for their driver's, at any time a member may request to meet with the BOD, and their needs will be addressed discreetly, and upon the approval of the BOD, arrangements shall be made…  

Scoring Tower

    The lower portion of the Scoring Tower has long been designated as the Head-Quarters for the main Office of the TBQMRA, by the track owners, and while the exterior is complete the interior is not, a construction Group Committee was formed, with Doug Menendez, and a friend (General Contractor) who will be making a list of the necessary supplies required to complete the interior.  Anyone interested in helping out please contact Mark Maus.

Flagman Position still Available

    The need for a permanent Flag-person is still an open matter. Come on, everyone should experience this at least once! Now recruiting for anyone interested in working on the Flag stand, can't race with out one!
